Prior to starting my career in Real Estate in 2014 I had kicked around the idea of becoming a Realtor© since 2005 when I graduated college and began working at ING Direct (now Capital One 360). During my employment at ING Direct I began selling mortgages for them and had my first introduction to the world of real estate. In particular, I had access to the appraisal reports that were completed on loan borrowers’ homes and found them to be incredibly fascinating! Now if you’ve ever looked at an appraisal report you may be thinking that I am a bit odd, but it was very interesting to compare the different values of homes and the pictures that were associated with each house. It was mind blowing to see a much less desirable home in Boston sell for 6 times more than what a much nicer/bigger home would sell for in Oklahoma! I wasn’t necessarily naive to the fact that real estate carried different values in different parts of the country, but it was shocking to see first hand the discrepancy that exists. After I wrapped my head around that I began following the local markets as an “arm chair” real estate agent and I could start to identify different pockets of the central Minnesota area that also showed similar trends. My love for real estate simply blossomed after that!

It was 8 years later that things finally came to a crossroad for me. For years I had contemplated the idea of getting into real estate and late in 2013 I realized that I had an opportunity in front of me to utilize my skills in an industry that I was passionate about! I began my training and received my license in January of 2014 and haven’t looked back since.

To me, being a Realtor is caring less about myself than I do about my clients that trust me with their needs. The process will never be about me, but rather, the focus will be on achieving the results that my clients desire! To do this I utilize the latest technology and institute it in ways that aren’t common practice in the industry. I aim to provide an experience that is comprehensive and well above the experience that my competition provides. 

While much of my life is centered around real estate, I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends, and enjoying the outdoors. I have a passion for fishing (although I am much better at selling real estate) and I especially enjoy fishing for bass.
